Eyelid Surgery

Is it normal to have bruising after double eyelid surgery? It has been 5 days and bruises just begun to appear in the last three days and it looks like I got into a fight or something. It does not hurt at all but it looks strange and bruises you get when you run into something. It is mainly under the eyes. Yes - normal, because it is very, very tender tissue around eyes. I just cosmetic Oculofacial (Specializing in eyelid and face lift) plastic surgeon practicing for 15 years with offices in New York City's Upper East Side. I am also author of "The Fine Art of Looking younger". It is normal to have some bruising after blepharoplasty. Typically, this will improve over the course of several days.
